Speaking Skills/ Practical English: How to tell a story

We all have stories to tell; these do not necessarily mean telling tales or fables or myths or whatever. Whatever anecdote that happens before the moment of speaking and it is worth talking about for some reason qualifies as a story. Stories, given their nature, rely on some particular language to be told: we normally use the narrative- i.e.: past- tenses to tell them (past simple, past continuous, past perfect...), and the main problem that students have with these is not using the right tense or not PRONOUNCING  it correctly.

Check the following links and learn to tell stories correctly.

Enjoy!
