Heaven and Hell

Oh, heaven and hell; hell and heaven. There are certainly some situations we would like to avoid like the plague, but some are unavoidable. Sickness and suffering are the obvious picks, but more mundane situations can be hellish enough: coping with impossible deadlines at work or uni, annoying neighbors or workmates, asshhole bosses and bad people in general is a nuisance, of course, but also not being able to get to sleep for long periods of time, being constantly screwed by phone, internet and utility companies, having to put up with worthless politicians who think we're completely fool, ruling our country and ripping us off as if there was no tomorrow (people with half our qualifications and not necessarily that well spoken) and so on and so forth...
The good news is that in a dual world, for every hell, there must be a heaven and that for our personal heaven on earth to come true, we do not have to find ourselves locked in a small room with Brad Pitt or Scarlett Johanson (depending on whether you're into men or women ;-)),; we can, instead, make do with more achievable, ordinary goals/ situations.
I'm not exactly reinventing philosophy when I say that one has to try and think of those "small" things that make one finds pleasure in (sinple things such as walking one's dog in the mountains on a sunny/cloudy day, going for a jog early in the morning, getting together with friends and/or family and revisiting that funny anecdote for the umpteenth time, sipping and savoring that glass of not really exclusive, but utterly delicious wine, etc.) and indulge in them. So, just go and do these whenever you feel like!

Do you not agree with me?

"Eat, drink, love and be merry, for tomorrow we may die!" (Though I'd add: don't be mean to others, don't be a prick, treat others as you would like to be treated and you'll be at peace with yourself!)

I completely agree with you that sickness and suffering might pass you off a HELL on Earth but hey, I'll say you a thing, if you GOT carry the weight these things appropiately, the thing won't be as terrible. Advise one: If the thing has a possible solution, don't worry about that, put a smile on your face and the thing will be fixed probably. If unfortunately, the thing has a difficult solution or directly IT DOESN'T HAVE IT, It won't get you anywhere suffering as a damned soul... put other smile on your face and as best you can.

I prefer thousand times get up with a smile and bringing the best version of me- is easy when you know do it- and focusing only in things make me HAPPY, things as simple as go running, having fun with friends, killing a jerk blonde -----hahaha-,enjoy your family, meeting new people, or a simple embrace-little kiss of my dog, all that makes me HAPPY.
I'll say also that my idea of heaven isn't staying looked up in a room with any actor as Brad Pitt, BUT If I had to do it, I would choose the main character of 'Hawai 5.0' Alex O'loughlin, of course... hahaha... Only just in case, OK?

And don't ask me what I would do if I stayed looked up with Rajoy, I think something similar what happened in a Valencian pool... ha haha - I'm a VERY peaceful woman but at the same time I think I have a little WARRIOR inside me...

P.D. BTW my idea of heaven is being able to sleep more too, because I'm a sleepwalker -since I was a child- and I sometimes spend all night walking if I'm nervous about something.

    1. Great words, Tatyana-

      Just some observations:

"sickness and suffering might give you a hell on earth"
      "I'll TELL you something"
"If you get to BEAR these things appropriately..."
"put ANOTHER smile on your face"
"I prefer ONE thousand times TO get up with..."
      "focus only ON things..."
      "a blonde jerk"
      "LOCKED up"
      "something similar TO what happened"

Despite the corrections, great reflections, as usual!

  2. According to my mind, thinking of the inevitable death just as an excuse so as to live it up is a typical fault into which I have fallen too.Somehow such a thought prevents us from striving and improving as individuals,I would rather see death as an opportunity to get to be aware of the relevant things, among which are found details.I used to understand details were trivial and useless, now I have learnt how powerful details are in each small action.Anyway these subjetives opinions go to show that life and death are not consecutive but actually attached to each other.
As regards the negative experience one suffers along his life such as serious diseases, all kind of accidents, emotional shocks due for instance to lose a beloved person, and other minor problems like being unemployed, being jilted, not passing an exam(the quality of these problems is based just on my own view),I have noticed that one way or another we always find enough strenghts to get out of these disgusting situations and,in spite of our scars,we go ahead. It amazes me the will of instinct.
Yeah, some offputting circumstances are unavoidable, therefore we had better learn to face them thru the best posible way,and what is more I would say that troubles enable us to evolve.
On the other hand the woman about whom I myself usually daydream is Juliette Binoche,I really admire her not just because of her beauty but also as a great actress.

    1. Superb thoughts, Diego.

      Just a little feedback:

"I would rather see death as an opportunity to get to be aware of the relevant things, among which details ARE/ CAN BE found"
      "These SUBJECTIVE opinions"
"Emotional shocks due for instance to LOSING a..."
      "we always find enough STRENGTH"
"these PROBLEMS/ DRAWBACKS/ MISSTEPS enable us..."

Notwithstanding these observations, great, great writing, as I said.

      Thanks!
